Mikayil Jabbarov: Special approaches are developed for activity of citizens in liberated territories

Special approaches are being prepared for the activity of any Azerbaijani citizen in the liberated areas, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said during the presentation of the 'Dayaq' award, Report informs.

According to him, after these approaches are prepared, they will be presented to the government and public discussion: "The vision is that the state will provide tools in this direction."

The minister also said that the main value of SMEs for any economy, including the economy of Azerbaijan, is that they provide flexibility, employment, and stability to the economy.

Jabbarov noted that the role of SMEs in the diversification of the country's economy is irreplaceable: "Dozens of entrepreneurs are already operating in the liberated areas. In some cases, entrepreneurs make investment decisions based on patriotism and business approach. It is indeed appreciated. I believe that this is a demonstration of social responsibility and citizenship. However, we do not build our activity based on this as the business needs to earn money and get opportunities to be sustainable."

According to him, the concessions to be applied from January 1, the projects planned in the liberated territories are considered to make the economic activity sustainable and profitable: "In 2023, we will witness the launch of many new projects."
