Member of the Azerbaijani parliament Vahid Ahmadov has urged to discuss the creation of private pension funds in Azerbaijan.
Speaking at the joint session of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) Committees on Labor and Social Policy, Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneursip, Ahmadov stressed the need to adopt the law on private penson funds.
"There are examples of this in the world. Why do we need the State Fund (the State Fund of Social Protection under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection - ed.)? Maybe, I am not satisfied with how this fund works," he said.
