"Licenses and Permits" portal launched in Azerbaijan

Baku. 14 March. REPORT.AZ/ "Licenses and Permits" portal has been put into operation in Azerbaijan to provide electronic licenses and permits required for entrepreneurial activity.

Report informs, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov, who has attended the presentation said that Azerbaijan has already formed its export potential and now looking for new markets.

"From this point of view, electronization of public services is an important issue, which creates conditions for reducing costs and eliminating loss of time," said the head of the department, adding that 23 departments of 13 state agencies will be involved in the portal.

Besides, according to him, so far, 5,311 licenses have been issued to businessmen in Azerbaijan, 51% of which are new licenses.
