Khalid Ahadov: Entrepreneurship development - priority in Heydar Aliyev's policy

The development of entrepreneurship was one of the priority directions in the policy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on socio-economic issues Khalid Ahadov said in the conference themed "Heydar Aliyev and the development of entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan" organized by the Ministry, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) under the Ministry, and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations, Report informs.

"The Great Leader has implemented reforms in the banking sector that facilitate access to financial opportunities for entrepreneurs. The National Leader paid attention to the problems of entrepreneurs, and the adopted state programs for the development of entrepreneurship are an example of this. He was constantly working on artificial barriers to entrepreneurial activity. Complex measures were taken to eliminate artificial barriers," Ahadov noted.

According to him, Azerbaijan was one of the backward agrarian countries in terms of socio-economic indicators in the 60s of the last century, so thanks to the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, it has become a developed industrial republic within a few years.

Ahadov said that today under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the reconstruction of the liberated lands is being carried out rapidly: "Entrepreneurs will make a big contribution in this direction in the near future. Heydar Aliyev constantly teaches us to renew through his personal example. Today, on solid foundations, under the leadership of the President, we are achieving new successes in a new stage of history. I am sure that as a result of public-private partnership, our country will develop further."
