Israeli ambassador: We look forward to working together in recovered territories

"Israel is a partner of Azerbaijan, and we look forward working together also in the recovered territories," Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Georgie Deek told Report.

"We see our friendship getting deeper and stronger, and we see that more Israeli businesses are getting more involved, interested in working together with Azerbaijani territories. One of the Israeli companies is operating in the Zangilan, doing agricultural farming in this area. We look forward to thinking that cooperation comes to fruit," he said.

In January-October 2021, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Israel amounted to $645.9 million, 48.9% more than a year earlier. The export from Azerbaijan to Israel increased by 50.4% to $618.1 million, and the import from Israel went up 22% to $27.8 million.
