A two-day International Forum on Carbon Pricing has kicked off in Baku, Report informs.
The event was organized jointly by the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA) and the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
The forum was attended by more than 40 high-ranking officials from IOTA member countries, representatives of international organizations such as the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the European Commission, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), etc.
The event participants are discussing carbon pricing mechanisms, international experience in their application, and new approaches.
