Global Think Tank Forum held in Baku

The Global Think Tank Forum has been held in Baku jointly with the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), and the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program Institute, Report informs referring to CAERC.

The forum, organized under the theme "Global Green Economy: Climate Action, Financing and Innovation," was attended by representatives of influential think tanks from the T20 network, scientists, representatives of government structures, private sector, NGOs, and other stakeholders.

The forum's objective was to promote a better understanding of climate change impacts and encourage measures supporting the implementation of the Paris Agreement through dialogue between countries.

Participants emphasized the need to reduce carbon emissions, develop renewable energy sources, implement green financing mechanisms, and carry out climate change adaptation measures.
