Georgia's trade turnover with Azerbaijan surpasses $400M

In January-April 2024, the value of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia decreased by 20.8% compared to the same period last year and amounted to $400.795 million, Report informs, citing the National Statistical Office of Georgia.
Azerbaijan’s share in the total foreign trade turnover of Georgia was 6.1%.
During the reporting period, the value of products exported by Georgia to Azerbaijan decreased by 26.7% to $191.95 million (10.9% of total exports), and the value of products imported by Georgia from Azerbaijan went down by 14.5% to $208.845 million (4.4% of total imports).
In January-April, Georgia's total trade turnover amounted to $6,563,432,000, down 2.7% year-on-year. The value of exports decreased by 10.1% to $1,763,188,000 while the imports rose by 0.3% to $4,800,244,000.
