Georgia more than doubles spending on aluminum imports from Azerbaijan

Georgia imported aluminum and aluminum products valued at $403,000 from Azerbaijan in January-May of 2024, 2.3 times more than the same period of 2023, Report informs citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.

During the reporting period, in total, Georgia imported aluminum and aluminum products worth $55 million, which is 8% more than the previous year. In particular, Georgia imported products worth $34 million from Türkiye, $4.6 million from China, $4.1 million from Russia, $3.31 million from Italy, and $1.31 million from Ukraine.
