Georgia-Azerbaijan trade grows almost 16%

Last year, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia increased by 15.5% compared to 2022 and amounted to $1.515 billion, Report informs referring to the National Statistics Service of Georgia.
This amounted to 7% of the neighboring country’s annual trade turnover.
During the reporting period, the value of products exported by Georgia to Azerbaijan increased by 28.2% compared to a year earlier and amounted to $862.07 million (14.2% of total exports), and the value of products imported by Georgia from Azerbaijan increased by 2.1% and amounted to $653.911 million (4.2% of total imports).
In 2023, Georgia’s total trade turnover increased by 12.5% compared to the same period last year to $21.529 billion.
