From China to Azerbaijan in 6 days: Local carriers make history

In a groundbreaking development for Azerbaijan's transportation sector, local road carriers have successfully completed their first direct cargo shipment from China to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

This achievement marks a significant step forward in strengthening economic ties between the two nations and expanding the reach of Azerbaijani logistics companies.

On June 20, two vehicles laden with refrigerators and air conditioners embarked on their journey from China. In an impressive display of efficiency, they arrived in Azerbaijan just six days later, showcasing the potential for rapid trade along this new route.

Mahmud Namazov, the director of Narcin Transport LLC (www.narchin.az), the company responsible for this historic transportation, emphasized the significance of this achievement. He stated that this is the first transportation by an Azerbaijani company along the Turan road, adding that this success will raise trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People's Republic of China to a new level and will contribute to expanding the geography of local cargo carriers.
