French carmaker sees 5% decline in sales

In 2021, the leading French carmaker Renault Group sold 2.696 million cars, showing a 4.5% decline compared to a year earlier, Report informs, citing foreign media.
Renault Group's car sales decreased by 21.3% in 2020 and 3.4% in 2019.
However, last year the holding strengthened its position in the electric car market of the continent, and 30% of the cars sold in the reporting period were electric cars.
