The French company Alstom, engaged in production of railway carriages and transportation systems, has announced the suspension of supplies to Russia and all future investments into the country.
Report informs, citing foreign media, that the company explained the move by Russia's military actions in Ukraine.
"Alstom is closely monitoring the dramatic situation currently happening in Ukraine," the company said in a statement.
"The Group will obviously comply with all applicable sanctions and laws and has decided to suspend all deliveries towards Russia... Alstom also confirms suspending all future business investments in Russia," the company said.
