Foreign investors eager to create agricultural park in Azerbaijan

Investors from Uzbekistan and Arab countries are eager to create an agricultural park in Azerbaijan, said Zamir Dibirov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA) under the Ministry of Economy, Report informs.
“Those investors applied to the Agency for this. Uzbek investors want to invest in cotton growing in Azerbaijan and create cotton growing clusters here. Arab investors are still considering certain areas in agricultural parks. In addition, some local businessmen also want to invest in agro parks,” he said.
“Applications of investors to create an agro park, their projects are reviewed and, if appropriate, registered,” Dibirov added.
