Initiatives to combat climate change and support the private sector are a priority for the Asian Development Bank, ADB Special Advisor on Climate Issues Warren Evans said at a briefing in Tbilisi, Report informs.
“As of July 1, 2024, ADB restructured and moved to a new operating model that truly puts climate change and the private sector at the heart of everything we do. So we've essentially made radical changes in our operations and are looking at everything through a climate lens, which is very important,” Warren Evans said.
According to him, ADB reached a peak in climate finance last year.
