Envoy: Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan economic co-op developing

Economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan is actively developing and growing, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kazakhstan Agalar Atamoglanov said at a round table meeting on bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, Report informs.

He noted that the development of bilateral relations with Kazakhstan, as well as cooperation within international organizations is one of the main priorities of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy.

“We have all the prerequisites for this - the presence of economic potential, energy resources, a favorable geographical position, etc.,” the ambassador said.

Atamoglanov noted that today’s event is significant because it is held on the eve of President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Kazakhstan.

“The first meeting of the expert council had very positive results, we saw the need for periodic organization of such meetings of experts from the two countries,” he said.

Atamoglanov also expressed hope that the discussions and proposals made during today’s round table meeting will contribute to the integration processes of the two fraternal countries.
