Entrepreneurs in Karabakh can pay utility bills at discounted rate

The Azerbaijani government is considering the possibility of paying the electricity, natural gas and water at discounted rates for businessmen operating in the liberated territories, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Economic Zones Development Agency Elkhan Shiriyev told Report.
"I think that the package related to these concessions will be presented to the government in 1-1.5 years," he said.
According to Shiriyev, a list of raw materials will be drawn up: "Based on this list, some raw materials are expected to be exempted from customs duties. It is for ensuring economic activity. Entrepreneurs will be more competitive and attractive when new production areas are established in the liberated territories."
