China, US discuss lifting of tariffs and sanctions 

Chinese Deputy Premier Liu He held a remote meeting with US Trade Representative Catherine Taye, Report informs, citing foreign media.

The sides discussed the lifting of tariffs and sanctions and trade relations between the world’s two largest economies.

In general, 3 issues were discussed during the video call. Thus, they accepted the importance of trade and economic ties between China and the United States for both countries and the world and stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral trade, as well as economic exchange and cooperation. They exchanged views on the implementation of the trade agreement. The main concerns were expressed, and it was agreed to resolve them through negotiations.
