Cargo transportation from Azerbaijan to foreign countries by road up

In January–September of this year, Azerbaijan's cargo turnover with foreign countries by road transport amounted to 3,938,297 tons worth $8,874,867,000, respectively, up 8.8% and 16% from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Customs Committee.

In particular, during 9 months, 1,461,527 tons of cargo worth $1,312,987,000 were exported, and 2,476,770 tons of cargo worth $7,561,879,000 were imported.

During the reporting period, the value of exported cargo increased by 0.2% and its volume by 5.5%. The value of imported goods increased by 18.6% and volume by 10.8%.
