Budget revenues from privatization of state property more than doubles in Azerbaijan

In January-July of this year, the state budget received 69 million manats ($40.6 million) from the privatization of state property, which is 2.1 times more than in the same period last year, Report informs, referring to the State Servıce on Property Issues under the Ministry Of Economy of the Republıc of Azerbaijan.

According to the information, 31 privatization auctions were held in the reporting period, 22.5% less than a year ago. In the auctions, the share packages of 8 joint-stock companies (-38.5%), 11 small state enterprises (+10%), 2 unfinished construction sites (remained unchanged), and 303 vehicles (-8.3%) were privatized.
