Baku to host German-Azerbaijan business forum

German companies are expected to participate in the next German-Azerbaijani Business Forum on modernization of industry and infrastructure to be held on September 27, 2019 in Baku, Report informs citing the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan).

Yesterday, B2B meetings with the German delegation were held within the close cooperation of AHK Azerbaijan with COMMIT Project Partners GmbH.

As a next step towards development of economic ties between Azerbaijan and Germany, the German delegation consisting of businessmen visited Azerbaijan upon the invitation of German Ministry of Economy and Energy.

On the first day of the business trip, B2B meetings were held between Germany and Azerbaijani businessmen engaging in banking sector, industry supply and services, technical and electrical trial equipment, security and supervision systems and other fields. Bayerische Landesbank (BayernLB), Hans Lehnard CEPT GmbH, Noble Products International GmbH, Kaeser Kompressoren SE, PT Plastic Technologie GmbH, Securemen GmbH, Seba Dynatronic Mess- und Ortungstechnik GmbH closely participated in the discussions to evaluate the existing cooperation with the local companies. The agenda of the German delegation for the next three days includes meetings with officials of Azerbaijani government, as well as heads of local private companies.

The trip will end on September 28.
