Baku to host 29th General Assembly of IOTA

The 29th General Assembly of the Intra-European Organisation of Tax Administrations (IOTA) will be held in Baku on June 17-19, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The event to be organized on the topic "Adaptive and agile tax administration in a rapidly changing environment" will focus on innovative approaches and tools that tax administrations can use to respond to modern challenges in a timely manner, and presentations on the practical application of innovations, agile methods and tools in tax administration will be demonstrated.

As part of the event, it is also planned to hold an exhibition rich with technologies and platforms that allow tax administrations to adapt more quickly, make constructive decisions, promote innovations, increase competencies and optimize workforce planning.

The 29th General Assembly of IOTA will bring together leading tax experts from Europe and the region, serving as a platform for presenting agile strategies for tax systems, adaptive structure and management, modern approaches, skills and competencies needed for innovation, and advanced leadership practices.

The State Tax Service is holding the presidency of IOTA for 2024-2025.
