Baku buzzes as Huawei launches Xinghe Intelligent Network at Tech Carnival and Partner Summit 2024

Huawei Tech Carnival and Partner Summit 2024 kicked off with the Launch of Huawei's Xinghe Network for Middle East and Central Asia in Baku, Azerbaijan on May 13, Report informs.
Dedicated to "Accelerating Industrial Intelligence" this year’s event held in Baku, this major and important event in the field of technology brought together more than 1000 customers and partners from countries across the Middle East and Central Asia such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and etc.

Tech Carnival and Partner Summit 2024 was opened by the President of Huawei for the Middle East and Central Asia, Steven Yi, who spoke about the company's goals: “Huawei aims to accelerate the intelligent digital transformation in the MECA, leveraging advanced full-stack technology in connectivity, IT, AI, and cloud services, together with deep industry expertise and robust partnerships, we are committed to establishing the region as a centre of innovation and enduring success in this transformative era.”



Then, Deputy Head of the Special Communications and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Major General Allahveran Ismayilov spoke in his welcome speech:

"To ensure that advancements in technology, digitalization, cybersecurity, and the application of artificial intelligence become integral parts of our daily lives, we are actively pursuing a range of initiatives designed to harness the full potential of ICT technologies. Furthermore, in addressing various national cybersecurity challenges including network threats, critical infrastructure protection, data protection, and privacy breaches, we are enhancing collaboration with partners such as Huawei and others, to build more sustainable digital infrastructure.”



David Shi, Vice President of Huawei ICT Marketing & Solution Sales, in his turn, spoke on Huawei's commitment to continuously accelerate digital and intelligent transformation in this region, driving the economic growth to a new height, through its key role as an "Accelerator" for the intelligent economy by developing scenario-based industry solutions, and building the "highway" of the intelligent economy through leading ICT infrastructure, together with its enriched partner and ecosystem with more and more "Fellow Travelers".

After the opening ceremony, the Huawei Network Summit began its work.

During the Summit, Yang Chaobin, Director of ICT Products and Solutions of Huawei, noted that it is necessary to work hand in hand for the development of intelligence, and in this way, it is possible to move faster towards a smart world.

"Huawei is committed to network technology innovation and collaboration with customers and partners to build Net5.5G-based network infrastructure that can power all industries with intelligence," he added.

In the second part of the event, Huawei unveiled its Xinghe Intelligent Network products and solutions, and delved into trending topics, including campus networks, wide area networks (WANs), data center networks (DCNs), and network security, as well as commercial and distribution business.

Leon Wang, President of Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, further elaborated on the company's vision during his speech.

"All industries are accelerating intelligent transformation, and networks are evolving to all intelligence. As such, we fully upgrade our data communication solutions from Intelligent Cloud-Network to Xinghe Intelligent Network based on Net5.5G, thereby building a network foundation for the intelligent era," he stated.
