Azerbaijani jewelry dominates domestic market, association says

Azerbaijan's jewelry sector is thriving, with locally produced pieces accounting for an impressive 60-65% of the domestic market, according to the Azerbaijan Jewelers Association.

According to Report, Rovshan Amirjanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Jewelers Association, proudly stated that the country's jewelry products are on par with imported items in terms of quality. Azerbaijan imports precious metals and stones from Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, Russia, and China, yet homegrown gold jewelry remains highly competitive.

Azerbaijani jewelry brands have established sales points in Türkiye, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and other countries.
