Azerbaijani carpets to be exhibited in Vietnam

Preparations for an upcoming exhibition of Azerbaijani carpets in Vietnam were discussed, Report informs, citing Azerkhalcha OJSC.

The discussions took place during the 3rd Vietnam Days event held in Baku, aimed at expanding cultural ties between the two countries. Azerbaijani carpets were showcased to foreign guests as part of the event.

The meeting was held at Azerkhalcha’s sales and exhibition hall located in Icherisheher. Attendees included Emin Mammadov, Chairman of Azerkhalcha’s Board, the creative team, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Vietnam Shovgi Mehdizada, and a Vietnamese delegation visiting Baku for the event.

Guests received detailed information about the history, development, and contemporary aspects of Azerbaijani carpets. Traditional and modern-style wool and silk carpets produced by Azerkhalcha attracted significant interest. Visitors also participated in the carpet-weaving process. Certificates were awarded by Emin Mammadov to everyone who took part in the weaving.
