Azerbaijani carpets may be sold on Amazon

Negotiations are underway regarding the sale of Azerbaijani carpets on Amazon and other online shopping platforms, said Emin Mammadov, the chairman of Azerkhalcha OJSC, Report informs.

He said that the sale of Azerbaijani carpets can start next year on the platforms mentioned above.

“We are in talks with various international carpet designers to create new and modern designs based on our traditional carpets. Because these people are a brand, the introduction of Azerbaijani carpets by them can lead to significant progress in the development of the art of carpet weaving.
