Azerbaijan triples revenues from tobacco exports 

In January-April 2022, Azerbaijan imported $17.9 million worth of tobacco and tobacco substitutes, 45.8% or $15.1 million less than in 2021, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

During the reporting months, Azerbaijan earned $7 million from tobacco and tobacco substitutes export, up $4.8 million or 3.2-fold from a year earlier.

Import expenditures accounted for 0.4% of Azerbaijan’s total spending, while export revenues constituted 0.1% of total revenues.
