Azerbaijan to implement 100% logistics subsidy for products exported from liberated territories

A 100% logistics subsidy will be introduced for products exported from Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, announced Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Report informs.

Speaking at a conference in Baku titled Constitution and Sovereignty - Development of Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, dedicated to Entrepreneurs Day and the Year of Constitution and Sovereignty, Abdullayev shared details about this initiative.

Abdullayev stated that a new mechanism for subsidizing logistics is being created in Azerbaijan. AZPROMO is actively working on developing new mechanisms for logistics subsidies, which are expected to be finalized and approved this year, he added.

He highlighted that this is a very crucial mechanism: "This mechanism is a support mechanism that will be implemented to non-traditional markets.”

The director underscored that under the plan, up to 75% of logistics will be subsidized, while products from liberated territories will receive 100% subsidization.
