Azerbaijan starts selling rubber pipes, hoses to another country

In January-August 2024, Azerbaijan exported 20 tons of rubber pipes and hoses worth $528,000, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.

According to the committee, the value of the exports grew by 4.4 times in value year-on-year, while the quantity soared by 77%.

Azerbaijan sold 11.61 tons (+194 times YoY) of rubber pipes and hoses to Norway worth $431,400 (539 times more), 4.2 tons to Iraq worth $27,300, 1.3 tons (+7 times) to the United States for $20,300 (-26%), 0.04 tons (no supply last year) to Ukraine for $14,200, and 0.7 tons (+89%) to the UK for $12,700 (-29%).

This year marks the first time in the last 13 years (note: official foreign trade statistics are publicly available since 2011) that supplies have been made to Iraq.
