Azerbaijan starts importing polypropylene from Oman

In 2023, Azerbaijan exported 101,336 tons of polypropylene worth $110 million, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

This is 20% more than the 2022 figure in value and 44% more in quantity.

Azerbaijan exported polypropylene to Russia, Türkiye, Georgia, Iran, Uzbekistan and other countries.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 14,183 tons (+33%) of polypropylene worth $18.8 million (+10%).

Azerbaijan imported polypropylene from South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, Russia, Iran and other countries.

Last year, for the first time in the last 13 years, supplies were made from Oman (94 tons worth $104,000).
