Azerbaijan starts importing costume jewelry from Qatar

Last year, Azerbaijan imported 122,788 kg of costume jewelry worth $3.2 million.

According to Report’s calculations based on State Statistics Committee data, this is 55% more than the 2022 figure in value terms and 15% more in quantitative terms.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported costume jewelry from China, Türkiye, Italy, Thailand, India and other countries.

Last year, for the first time in the last 13 years, supplies were made from Qatar (34 kg worth $610).

In 2022, China accounted for 53% of costume jewelry imported into Azerbaijan (from 41 countries) worth $2.1 million.
