Azerbaijan starts importing cabbage from 2 countries

In 2023, Azerbaijan imported 113 tons of cabbage (excluding cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli) worth $56,000, Report informs, referring to the State Statistics Committee.
This is 96% less than in the same period in 2022 in value terms and 97% in quantitative terms.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 69.4 tons of products (-98%) worth $35,400 (-97%) from Iran, 31.3 tons (-88%) worth $12,900 (-89%) from Türkiye, 4 tons (-76%) for $3,200 (-75%) from the Netherlands, 6.2 tons (no imports last year) for $2,500 (+2%) from Russia, and 1.3 tons (no imports last year) for $1,000 from Germany.
Azerbaijan imported cabbage from Brazil (0.01 tons worth $50) and Portugal (0.7 tons worth $800) for the first time in 13 years (publicly available official statistics on foreign trade are as of 2011).
