Azerbaijan starts fire-resistant cement imports from Greece

In 2024, Azerbaijan imported 6,852 tons of fire-resistant cement, valued at $8.32 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 12% and 10%, respectively, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased from:
-Türkiye: 3,685 tons (+14%) worth $4.5 million (+19%);
- Bulgaria: 740 tons (-14%) worth $1.64 million (-11%);
- Russia: 1,072 tons (+74%) worth $390,000 (+5%);
- Poland: 259 tons (+30%) worth $309,000 (+27%);
- China: 312 tons (-40%) worth $298,000 (-14%).
In 2024, Azerbaijan supplied fire-resistant cement from Greece (2.9 tons worth $6,700) for the first time in 13 years, based on publicly available foreign trade statistics dating back to 2011.
