Azerbaijan starts exporting wine to one more country 

Azerbaijan exported 72,430 decaliters of grape wine worth $1.37 million in January-March 2023, up 2.9 times and 3.2 times, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Below are the countries that imported wine from Azerbaijan in the reporting period:

- Russia – 68,400 decaliters (+3.8 times) worth $1.22 million (+4.5 times);
- Unidentified country – 590 decaliters (+90.3%) worth $62,450 (+2.1 times);
- Belarus – 1,250 decaliters (-37%) worth $28,840 (-44%);
- Latvia – 1,100 decaliters (+2.8%) worth $22,400 (+9.2%);
- Japan – 110 decaliters (-78%) worth $14,510 (-11%).

This year, for the first time in the last 12 years (publicly available official statistics on foreign trade are until 2011), Azerbaijan supplied wine to Iraq (260 decaliters worth $3,110).
