Azerbaijan starts exporting dried crust to three more countries

During the first eleven months of 2022, Azerbaijan imported 536.8 tons of dried crust for $1.1 million, up 20% and 31%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Azerbaijan imported 256.7 tons (-8%) of dried crust from Russia for $495,000 (+12%), 116.3 tons (+40%) from Turkiye for $339,000 (+47%), 40.4 tons (-20 %) from Ukraine for $94,000 (+6.2%), 83 tons (3.4 times) from Iran for $67,000 (+3.5 times), and 6.2 tons (for the first time) from the United Arab Emirates for $22,000.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 109.1 tons (+7.3 times) of dried crust worth $315,000 (+8.3 times).

The country exported 37.5 tons worth $111,000 to Moldova, 25.6 tons (+9 times) worth $79,000 (+2.5 times) to Georgia, 23.1 tons (+92%) worth $61,000 (+91%) to Kazakhstan, 17.8 tons to Belarus for $48,000, and 5.2 tons to Germany for $17,000.

This year, for the first time in the last 11 years, Azerbaijan exported dried crust to Germany, Belarus, and Moldova.
