Azerbaijan starts exporting apple juice to Brunei

Azerbaijan exported 1,974 tons of apple juice worth $2.78 million in the first half of 2023, up 89% and 2.2 times, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, according to the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 1,847 tons (+3.6 times) of apple juice worth $2.63 million (+4.3 times) to Russia, 60 tons (+71 %) worth $81,000 (+88.3%) to Georgia, 20 tons (supply was restored after 1 year and 9 months) worth $31,000 to Kazakhstan, 27.51 tons (+31 %) worth $20,400 (+64 %) to Malaysia, 10.4 tons (+7.8%) worth $9,610 to Saudi Arabia.

Azerbaijan exported apple juice to Brunei (3.1 tons worth $5,000) for the first time in 12 years (official statistics on foreign trade is publicly available until 2011).

Some 70.4% of the 2,107 tons of the products exported from Azerbaijan to 12 countries last year were sent to Russia.
