Azerbaijan significantly increases flour imports from Belarus and Italy

In January-February 2025, Azerbaijan purchased 1,599 tons (68% less YoY) of flour (wheat or wheat-rye, corn, other grains) worth $562,000 (62% less YoY) from other countries, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased 1,584 tons (-68% YoY) flour from Russia for $537,700 (-62%), 6.58 tons (-87%) from Türkiye for $9,930 (-83%), 4.5 tons (+2.1 times) from France for $7,610 (+54%), 1.94 tons (+4 times) from Italy for $4,440 (+5 times), and 1.9 tons (+4 times) from Belarus for $1,200 (+5 times).
