Azerbaijan sharply reduces import of automobiles from US

In January-October 2022, Azerbaijan exported 45,880 automobiles for $530.8 million, down 20.7% and 6.3%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 12,084 vehicles (-0.6%) of worth $103.1 million (+27%) from Korea Republic, 9,156 cars (-18.4%) worth $98.1 million (-16.6%) from Germany, 5,011 vehicles (+18%) worth $89.7 million (+28%) from Japan, 5,190 automobiles (-59%) worth $56.7 million (-49%) from the US, and 1,938 cars (+26.3%) worth $41.8 million (+57%) from the UK.
