Azerbaijan sees nearly 19% surge in corn imports

In the first quarter of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 36,024 tons of corn, valued at $10.965 million, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.
Compared to the corresponding period in 2024, the imports grew by 5,701 tons or 18.8% in volume and rose by $393,000 or 3.7% in value.
During the mentioned period, the expenditures on corn imports accounted for 0.2% of Azerbaijan's total import costs.
