Azerbaijan sees nearly 11% rise in furniture import costs

Azerbaijan imported furniture and related parts worth $98.65 million between January and August 2024, marking a 10.7% increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.
The cost of imported furniture and its spare parts represented 0.8% of Azerbaijan’s total import expenses during this period.
Overall, Azerbaijan’s trade transactions with foreign countries exceeded $30.995 billion in the first eight months of 2024.
