Azerbaijan sees 16% growth in positive balance on foreign trade

Azerbaijan carried out trade operations worth $7,620,126,000 in 2018, up 37.4% from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Customs Committee (SCC).

In the reporting period, import operations amounted to $4,484,449,000, export operations to $3,135,577,000, respectively up 33.7% and 43.1% compared to a year earlier. Consequently, the positive balance made up $1,348,972,000, up 15.9% in comparison to a year earlier.
