Azerbaijan's Small and Medium Business Development Agency joins UN Global Compact

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) under the Ministry of Economy of the Azerbaijan Republic has joined the Global Agreement of the United Nations (UN), Report informs, citing the agency.
The UN Global Compact is a global initiative that brings together more than 20,000 business and non-business partners in more than 160 countries. The main goal of the organization’s members is to align their strategies and activities with internationally accepted principles related to human rights, labor rights, and environmental protection, as well as the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.”.
