Azerbaijan's revenues from sugar exports drop 31%

In January-April of this year, Azerbaijan imported sugar and confectionaries worth $55.075 million.
Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee, that this is a drop of 9.8% from the same period last year.
In the reporting period, the export of sugar and confectionaries from Azerbaijan amounted to $9.405 million, a drop of 30.7% from a year earlier.
The expenses for sugar imports made up 1.36% of the total imports and revenues from sugar exports accounted for 0.08% of the total exports in four months.
