Azerbaijan's pear exports to UAE surge tenfold

In January-July of 2025, Azerbaijan exported 3,807 tons of pears worth $2.6 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 43% and 52%, respectively, Report informs, referring to the country's State Statistical Committee.
During this period, Azerbaijan sold pears to:
- Russia: 3,629 tons (+42%) worth $2.5 million (+50%);
- Kazakhstan: 104 tons (+11%) worth 51,000 (+16%);
- The United Arab Emirates (UAE): 38.8 tons (+10 times) worth $15,500 (+3.6 times);
- Qatar: 8.2 tons worth $13,150 (no supply a year ago);
- Türkiye: 17 tons worth $12,800 (no supply a year ago).
In 2024, 95% of the 9,100 tons of pears exported from Azerbaijan went to Russia.
