Azerbaijan’s methanol export revenues grow by over 10%

Azerbaijan exported over 322,261 tons of methanol, valued at $65.03 million during the first eight months of 2024, Report informs, referring to the country’s State Customs Committee.

Compared to the corresponding period in 2023, the exports rose by 9.3 percent in volume and 10.4 percent in value.

In August alone, Azerbaijan exported 48,700 tons of methanol worth $10.5 million, marking an increase of 14.5% and 1.8 times, respectively, year-on-year.

Overall, Azerbaijan’s trade transactions with foreign countries exceeded $30.995 billion in the first eight months of 2024.
