Azerbaijan resumes tractor purchases from Belgium

In the first quarter of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 878 tractors (18% more YoY) worth $23.8 million (16% more YoY), Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan purchased 232 tractors (-5% YoY) from Germany for $5.1 million (-7% YoY), 215 tractors (+87%) from Belarus for $4.9 million (+65%), 158 tractors (+5%) from the Netherlands for $3.8 million (+8%), 102 tractors (+13%) from China for $3.4 million (+53%), and 55 tractors (+3 times) from Türkiye for $2 million (+3.5 times).

Azerbaijan has resumed procurement from Belgium (3 tractors worth $241,000) after a break of 1 year and 11 months.

In 2024, 32% of the 4,011 tractors imported to Azerbaijan came from Germany, while 25% came from China.
