Azerbaijan resumes investment in Georgian economy

In the second quarter of this year, Azerbaijan invested $202,800 in Georgian economy, Report's Georgian bureau informs, citing the National Statistical Office of Georgia.

This is the first investment made by Azerbaijan in the last two years. Azerbaijan withdrew $30.8 million from Georgia in 2020 and $6.240 million in the first quarter of 2021.

In April-June, the total amount of foreign direct investment in the Georgian economy amounted to $234.2 million (-2.6%).
