Azerbaijan resumes import of milk and cream from 2 countries

In 2023, Azerbaijan imported 12,661 tons (+25.5%) of milk and cream worth $23.9 million (+26%), Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 5,164 tons (+2.2 times) of the product worth $8.5 million (+84%) from Belarus, 4,218 tons (+35%) worth $8.3 million ( +22 %) from Iran, 1,699 tons (+4.3 %) worth $3 million (+33.5 %) from Russia, 682 tons (-20 %) worth $1.7 million (-30 %) from Ukraine, and 648 tons (-56%) worth $1.5 million (-37%) from Türkiye.
Azerbaijan resumed supply from Denmark (0.01 ton worth $20) after a break of 2 years and 11 months and from Spain (0.3 tons worth $2,600) after a 2-year hiatus.
