Azerbaijan resumes fruit tree imports from Ukraine

In January-February 2025, Azerbaijan imported 2.97 million trees, bushes and shrubs (fruit-bearing) worth $9.9 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 33% and 31%, respectively, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
During this period, Azerbaijan purchased such products from:
- Türkiye: 2.177 million units (+40%) worth $6 million (+37%);
- France: 233,000 units (+15 times) worth 1.3 million (+9 times);
- Italy: 167,000 units (-21%) worth 1.3 million (-8%);
- Spain: 92,000 units (-30%) worth 498,000 (-13%);
- Greece: 151,000 units (-17%) worth 471,000 (-23%).
Azerbaijan has resumed supplies from Ukraine (13,000 units worth $29,000) after a break of 1 year and 10 months.
