Azerbaijan resumes corn oil exports to Belarus

In January-April 2024, Azerbaijan imported 5,803 tons of corn oil worth $8.4 million, up 25% and 2%, respectively, year-on-year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 2,923 tons of corn oil (+31 %) from Iraq for $4 million (+11%), 1,337 tons (-42%) from Türkiye for $2.3 million (-46%), 1,521 tons from the US for $2 million, 20 tons (-80%) from Italy for $50,000 (-82%), and 0.71 ton (-57%) from Germany for $4,700 (-57%).

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 73 tons (+5.4 times) of corn oil worth $144,000 (+3.3 times).

Azerbaijan exported 67.8 tons of corn oil (+5.7 times) to Georgia for $133,900 (+3.5 times), 3.5 tons to Kazakhstan for $6,650, 1 tons (remained unchanged) to Kyrgyzstan for $2,400, 0.6 ton (+37%) to Belarus for $1,200.
